Dr. David Dortch - Optometrist

Dr. Dortch, a Southern California native, was awarded his O.D. degree from Southern College of Optometry. He has been practicing since 1993, with emphasis on primary eye care diagnostic and treatment excellence. Dr. Dortch is married to his lovely wife Kim, and they both share two children, daughter Maycie and son Zachary.

When not at the office, Dr. Dortch enjoys activities such as playing guitar, golfing, skiing, boating, and camping with the family. He is also a strong supporter of the local community.

Lynda Judd - Office Supervisor & ABOC Optician

Lynda is likely the first person you will encounter when calling or entering the office. She is very personable and is responsible for ensuring that our front office runs smoothly. Lynda has previous experience as a marketing coordinator and is also very involved in church leadership. Born in Northern California, Lynda is a true California Native residing in Murrieta for the past 7 years with her husband and 4 of her 6 sons.

In her spare time Lynda enjoys spending time with her family in activities such as camping, hiking and tennis. She is also very arts and crafts oriented being involved in scrap booking, designing and sewing various event costumes and apparel. She also has experience as a professional cake baker and makes a mean chocolate raspberry mousse.

Sheila Struebing - ABOC Optician & Lab Technician

Sheila has worked in the optical field since 2003 and is currently pursuing her American Board of Opticians License. Sheila enjoys the personal interaction that her job provides and finds it very rewarding to help clients with various eye wear needs. Growing up in Oceanside, Sheila has lived in Southern California since 1990.

Outside of work she likes going to movies and spending social time with family and friends. Sheila also enjoys listening to music, reading, and participating in church study groups and spending time outdoors in nature. Traveling is also among her special interests and she has visited the Phillipines many times.

Pat Duran - Dispensing Optician

Pat has been in the optical industry for close to 25 years, and has spent the past 15 years in the Murrieta – Temecula Valley. As a dispensing optician, Pat finds helping someone to see who previously was unable to see or see clearly, one of the most rewarding parts of her job. When a patient says, "Oh, wow!" it makes my whole day.

Pat enjoys dining with friends, spending time with her daughters and her grandson. She loves to travel, camp and have friends and family gather at the house for quality time.

Nicole Mayfield - Dispensing Optician

Nicole has a history of working in the optical field for 5 years, and more recently as an optician for the past 3 years. Matching the doctor prescribed vision treatment with the eye glasses most complimentary to a client and their individual needs is what Nicole finds most challenging. The rewards are working in an environment which allows her interact on a very personal level with each client she deals with, placing top priority on exceeding their expectations.

Nicole has lived in the Temecula Valley since 1986. In her leisure time, Nicole enjoys singing karaoke and dancing the night away. Family time is also high on her priority list.
